freddy

Last night we had another great book club discussion. Sorry more people couldn't make it. Hopefully we will see more of you next time! Adrienne, Alison and Liz discussed humorous moments taken from the book as well as the British government compared to our own. Liz thought the book was a love letter to America! We also talked about how great it was for Freddy and Fredericka to have to loose it all and re- invent themselves before they appreciated each other and fell in love. Thank you for the lemon cake Liz! Does anyone have anything to add? Please leave your comment here!

Last night was great. My favorite part was our political talk about Obama and McCain. It was such a nice balance of Democrats and Conservatives! Deann, Liz was asking about you and wished you were with us. Jessica and Anna Marie, I hope you come next time!

Oh, man! Sounds like it was a lot of fun! I'm sad to have missed it. Tell Liz I can't wait to see her next time!

Thanks to all who came. You other slackers missed out. (ha!)

I just finished Two from Galilee. I loved it. It is part historical fiction, part love story and mystical throughout. It also has more abstinence than Twilight. Thanks to Allison for lending it.

I'm sorry I missed the meeting again. I didn't even finish the first chapter of Freddy. So, I got a head start on this one. I'll be there next time. I look forward to meeting all of you.
